Yardi x GCUC UK: Humans and Technology

Share

The way the world works has changed dramatically over the past few years and the move to hybrid working looks like it’s here to stay. This is particularly exciting for coworking and flexible workspaces who are ideally placed to provide an alternative to the now less fashionable traditional office lease model.

To truly take advantage of these opportunities, it is vital that owners and operators can leverage the latest technology to streamline their operations and improve efficiencies. This raises the question, however, of what the role really is for technology when it comes to coworking and flexible workspaces. With the massive advances in areas such as AI, where does that leave coworking and flex workspaces, of which a core focus is community and human interaction?

This is one of the key questions that will be posed at this year’s GCUC UK event, taking place in London on November 2.

As headline sponsors of this event, Yardi is excited to be facilitating the conversation on how instrumental technology can be when it comes to workspace management and how it interacts with the human element that makes coworking so unique and special.

Yardi’s Regional Director, Justin Harley, will be chairing a panel session at the event itself about this very topic, which will bring together some of the most influential names in the industry. Panel members will represent the variety of roles that exist within a coworking or flexible workspace, from space managers, community managers as well as tech savvy experts to provide a complete breadth of industry know-how.

In addition to the panel, Yardi is supporting a series of articles written by Emilie Lashmar and Rose Radtke, which will be posted on the GCUC blog. In this series, Emilie and Rose have interviewed a selection of people working within the industry in different roles, discussing the role of technology in their day-to-day profession and how they see that evolving over the coming years. Of particular interest is how they see the role of technology within the context of coworking’s human aspect.

With so many exciting opportunities on the horizon for the coworking and flexible workspace industry, it is important to look forward in how best to take advantage. This is why we are so proud to sponsor GCUC UK, as supporting and engaging with the wider coworking and flex workspace community, it is something we care about deeply. We are passionate about helping operators and providers succeed and provide them with the tools they need to operate in the most effective and efficient way possible. We understand that human interaction is at the heart of every coworking space and are thrilled to be able to champion the amazing work that operators are doing across the UK and Ireland.

So, don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for those blogs and come and say hello to us at GCUC UK in November! We are excited to see as many of you there as possible.
